Pork Chive Dumplings

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with these juicy pork and chive dumplings! Filled with ground pork, Chinese chives, and flavored with ginger and sauces, they're delicious and symbolize wealth and good fortune.

What you need

tsp white pepper

tbsp sesame oil

dumpling wrappers

tsp salt

tbsp light soy sauce
tbsp oil
egg

tbsp black vinegar

tbsp oyster sauce
Instructions
1: In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork with ginger, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, white pepper, egg, and oil. Mix in one direction for 5 minutes. 2: In a separate mixing bowl, combine the chopped chives with sesame oil. Mix well. 3: Add the ground pork mixture to the chives. Mix until well combined. 4: Wrap the dumplings as instructed. Place them on a large plate and cover them with a damp towel to prevent them from drying out. 5: Boil a large pot of water and add the dumplings one at a time. Make sure to not overcrowd the pot. Stir to prevent them from sticking together. 6: Bring it back to a boil and immediately add 1 cup of cold water. Once boiling again, the dumplings are done. 7: Serve with dipping sauce and top it off with chili oil (optional) and chopped scallions.View original recipe
