Butter Chicken Mac & Cheese Bake

Taking mac and cheese somewhere cozier, bolder, and a little unexpected using InnovAsian Crispy Butter Chicken. This easy comfort meal features a rich and flavorful sauce, crispy chicken, and creamy mac and cheese, perfect for a busy weeknight.

What you need

tbsp cooked chicken

tsp salt

cup shredded cheddar

tsp smoked paprika

tsp garlic powder

oz elbow macaroni

cup panko breadcrumbs

cup parmesan cheese

cup all purpose flour

cup shredded mozzarella

cup milk

tbsp butter
Instructions
1. Cook the InnovAsian Crispy Butter Chicken in the oven or air fryer according to package instructions. Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a bowl and toss with the included sauce packet. Set aside. 2. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add salt and macaroni and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside. 3. In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. 4. Add the flour and stir until it forms a roux. 5. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly, and cook until the mixture thickens. 6. Add the mozzarella and cheddar and stir until melted and smooth. 7. Season with paprika, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well. 8. Add the cooked pasta and stir until fully coated in the sauce. 9. Fold in a little over half of the crispy butter chicken. Mix well. 10. For the topping, combine the Parmesan, panko breadcrumbs, and melted butter. Mix well. 11. Sprinkle the Parmesan topping over the pasta and bake at 375F for 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly. 12. Top with the remaining crispy butter chicken and garnish with chives.
