What you need

tbsp light soy sauce

tsp white pepper
egg
tbsp cornstarch
cup vegetable oil

cup low-salt chicken broth

tbsp oyster sauce

tbsp white vinegar

tsp cayenne pepper

cup sugar

tbsp garlic

tbsp ginger

dried chiles

white sesame seeds

scallion
Instructions
1 : Marinate the chicken in a mixing bowl for 30 minutes, then add the batter of ¼ cup of combined cornstarch and flour. Mix until the chicken is well combined with the batter. 2 : Prepare the seasoning sauce by combining all the ingredients listed in a bowl. 3 : Heat oil to 350 F and carefully add the chicken. Fry for 3 minutes or until they turn slightly golden brown. Transfer out and increase the oil temperature to 375 F. Add the chicken back in and fry for another 1 minute or until they turn golden brown. 4 : In a wok over medium-low heat, add oil along with ginger, garlic, and dried chilis. Stir for 1 minute then add the seasoning sauce. Continue stirring until the sauce thickens, turn the heat down low and immediately add the chicken and mix until every piece of chicken is coated with the sauce. 5 : Serve with rice and garnish with white sesame seeds and scallions.View original recipe
