What you need

lb udon noodles

tbsp canola oil

tbsp unsalted butter

tbsp granulated garlic

cup half & half

tsp salt

tsp black pepper

tsp cajun seasoning

tsp smoked paprika

tsp cayenne pepper

tsp garlic powder

tsp onion powder

tsp oregano

tsp thyme
Instructions
1 : Make the cajun seasoning by combining the listed ingredients. Alternatively, you can use store-bought cajun seasoning. 2 : Lightly pound the chicken to even thickness using a meat tenderizer. Season both sides with the cajun seasoning. 3 : Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and chicken breast. Cook for about 5-6 minutes until brown, flip over and cook the other side for the same amount of time. Transfer out and let rest for a few minutes before slicing. 4 : Bring a pot of water to boil and add udon noodles, let them soak in water for 3 minutes then gently stir to loosen them up. 5 : Heat on medium and add butter to the skillet. Once butter is melted, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. 6 : Turn the heat to low, add heavy cream along with salt and black pepper. Let it come to a simmer and add the cooked udon noodles. Continue simmering until the sauce thickens to your liking.View original recipe
