1: Finely chop the chocolate with a knife and transfer to a glass mixing bowl. 2: Place the bowl over a saucepan with simmering water, ensuring it does not touch the water. 3: As the water simmers, slowly stir the chocolate with a spatula until almost melted. 4: Remove from heat and finish stirring until completely melted. 5: For Peppermint Bark: Add 1 tsp of peppermint extract, mix well, and pour onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. 6: Spread evenly with a spatula and sprinkle crushed candy canes and holiday sprinkle mix on top. 7: For Loaded Chocolate Bark: Add 1 cup of mixed nuts, mix well, and pour onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. 8: Spread evenly with a spatula and sprinkle with snowflakes mix on top. 9: Place the bark in the fridge for 30 minutes or until hardened. 10: Remove and hand break or cut into desired shapes. 11: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.View original recipe
