What you need

cup rice

cup water

tbsp ginger

tsp salt

tsp white pepper

scallion
tsp oil

tsp salt
tsp cornstarch

tsp water
Instructions
1 : Gently wash and drain the rice, add salt and oil to marinate for 20 minutes. 2 : Bring water to a boil and add the rice. Bring it back to a light boil then turn the fire down to medium. Cover and let it simmer for 1 hour, stir occasionally. 3 : After 1 hour, the rice should be broken. Add ginger, pork, and century egg. Cover and simmer for another 5 minutes. 4 : Season with salt and white pepper powder. Garnish with sliced century egg and scallions.View original recipe
