1 : Make homemade chicken broth in advance or use store-bought unsalted chicken broth. 2 : Add chicken broth to a medium pot and season with salt, white pepper, and sesame oil. Bring it to a boil to make the wonton soup base. 3 : Cook the noodles in a pot of boiling water for 1-2 minutes according to package instructions. Drain under cold water. 4 : Bring another pot of water to boil and add the wontons. 5 : If using fresh wontons, cook until they float (3-5 minutes). If using frozen wontons, boil them and then add 1/2 cup of cold water; wait for it to boil again. 6 : Add your favorite veggies to the pot and bring back to a boil. 7 : Assemble the dish with noodles at the bottom, adding wontons and veggies, followed by the broth. Garnish with chili oil and chopped scallions.
